Spooky, Polished Stone

Remember what we learned in our September Workshops??? Here is a little pic reminder... Well, use it for Halloween!!!

I also learned you can apply MORE color after the image in staz on has dried, and it won't wreck it! This made it easier to add more of the mustard color to the moon in this image. Sure is fun to make a spooky skyscape!
Stamps: House of Haunts
Ink: Staz on Black
Cardstock: Elegant eggplant, Basic Black, and Glossy white

Card of Hope

Sometimes we have to make cards for things that aren't so happy... My Mom was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and I wanted to make her a card... In PINK!! This got me thinking, that I should really be making more cards to donate to hospitals, send to troops, and just to drop in on someone fighting any one of lifes many battles... We all remember to send out cards for the happy events in life, but we shouldn't forget to let someone know when we appreciate them or miss them, or just to let them know we are thinking about them, wishing them well, or praying for them...This is the card that might mean the most to them, after all we all like a little fun mail any day of the year :)

Stamps: Thoughts & Prayers, Ribbon of Hope, I (heart) hearts
Cardstock: Pink Pirouette, Regal Rose
Ink: Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink
Tools: Xlarge Scallop Circle punch, 1 3/4 in. circle punch, Bigshot and polka dot embossing folder
Other: Regal Rose 5/8 grosgrain (discontinued)
