Watercolor Crayons...

I resently demonstrated watercolor crayons at my Feb workshops. Here are a few of the cards I have made with them:

Card #1

Stamps: Hostess level 2 Asian Artistry & SAB Vintage Labels (greeting)

Ink: Staz on black

Cardstock: Choc chip, watercolor paper, Kraft, To the Nines background paper

Tools & Such: earth elements watercolor crayons, paint brush and water, BigShot and polka dot folder, rich regals brads, and choc chip taffeta ribbon

For this card, I colored the image witht he crayons, and used a wet paint brush to blend the crayon, give it a water color painted look!

Card#2

Stamps: Hostess Level #2 Asian Artisty & SAB Vintage Labels (greeting)

Ink: Staz on Black, and ruby red

Cardstock: Old Olive, Ruby Red, and watercolor paper

Tools & Such: Earth Elements watercolor crayons, SAB- Scallop trim border punch, Ticket corner punch, rich regals brads, blender pen, BigShot and polka dot folder

I colored the image with the crayons and used blender pens to blend and shade.. Blender pens give you more control of the "painted" look.

Card #3

Stamps: Upsy Daisy

Ink: Choc. Chip

Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Choc Chip, White, Choc Chip designer series background paper

Tools & Such: SAB- scallop trim border punch, Polka dot ribbon, Regals & Earth watercolor crayons, spritz spray bottle of water

For this card you color right on your stamp with the watercolor crayons, then lightly spritz with water, and stamp on cardstock. Very pretty effect!!

Water color crayons make beautiful cards!! Have fun with them!!
