Elegant Soiree Gift

This is a recipe box that I dolled up for a gift for a friend for Christmas this year. SUPER easy and simple to make.. The box came plain white, and I just measured and glued some Designer Series Paper to it.. Added a little ribbon and hardware, stamped a tag, and ALL DONE! I filled it with a dozen handmade card and envelopes, and she can use the box for photos, or recipes, or more cards later.

Stamps: Sweet Serendipity (retired)
Ink: Baja Breeze and Soft Suede markers
Cardstock: Very Vanilla & DSP Elegant Soiree
Extras: Soft Suede ribbon & aged copper hardware (both discontinued)

Christmas Cards to me!!

Hope you all had a Very Merry Christmas!!! Just thought I'd share a few cards that were sent to me this Christmas. I love to receive cards just as much as I like to send them. In a day where everything is instant email etc. It is SO NICE to get a handmade card in the mail box! Here are a few that I recieved that were made all or mostly with Stampin Up products! Maybe they will inspire you to go create, as they do me!
